Records at Risk

BMT is one of four archives awarded a grant from @nationalarchivesuk ‘Records at Risk’ fund to salvage a valuable archive before it is lost forever. Digitising footage, using facilities at alive studios to then store historic negatives, 8mm film and amateur video tapes to build an ‘archive of the ordinary’.  This kickstarter funding will enable ‘Ordin-archive’ to interact with the community, to prompt memories, and champion under-represented stories in order to link working class history, music and family memories to public life.
